Find out moreThe IFIP Performance conference aims to bring together researchers interested in understanding and improving the performance of communication systems by means of state-of-the-art quantitative models and solution techniques. The Performance conference has a long-standing tradition and has followed an 18-month cycle for many years. Recently, the interval has been changed to one year.

Student Travel Grant
IFIP WG 7.3 Performance 2017 is pleased to continue its practice of offering student travel grants to
subsidize travel costs for attending the conference. The number and amounts of the awards will depend on
the number of applications received, available funds, and proximity of applicants to the venue. The purpose
of this grant is to help defray the travel and lodging costs, and not the conference registration fee. The
decisions will be made by a committee consisting of the general chairs, and a representative of the
Computer Performance Foundation.
To apply for travel grant, please send email to performance17@lists.cs.columbia.edu. In your email,
please include the following:
1. A short paragraph explaining why you want to attend PERFORMANCE and any prior association
with PERFORMANCE.
2. A CV or resume, or just a pointer to your website.
3. A short paragraph from your advisor stating that you are a student in good standing.
4. Your physical address and email.

- TRAVEL GRANT AWARD NOTIFICATION: October 15, 2017.
